1Ingredients
- 4 pieces (about 1/2 inch thick)Boneless pork chops
- 1 tablespoonOlive oil
- 0.5 teaspoonSalt
- 0.3 teaspoonBlack pepper
- 2 cloves, mincedGarlic
- 1 cupChicken broth
- 2 tablespoonsDijon mustard
- 0.5 cupHeavy cream
- 1 tablespoon, chopped (optional, for garnish)Fresh parsley
2Instructions
- 1
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
⏱ 2 min - 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned pork chops to the skillet. If your skillet is not large enough, sear in two batches.
⏱ 1 min - 3
Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 145°F / 63°C). Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside on a plate, tented with foil to keep warm.
⏱ 8 min - 4
Reduce heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
⏱ 1 min - 5
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Dijon mustard until well combined. Continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
⏱ 3 min - 6
Stir in the heavy cream and return the sauce to a gentle simmer. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
⏱ 3 min - 7
Return the cooked pork chops to the skillet, spooning the creamy Dijon sauce over them. Let them warm through in the sauce for about 1-2 minutes.
⏱ 2 min - 8
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
