Sweet & Savory Glazed Grilled Shrimp Skewers

- 0.3 cupSoy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 2 clovesGarlic, minced
- 1 tspFresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbspLime juice, fresh

- 1 tspSesame oil
- 8 countWooden or metal skewers
- 1 tbspSesame seeds, for garnish
- 2 tbspFresh cilantro or parsley, chopped, for garnish

In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, fresh lime juice, sriracha (if using), and sesame oil. Set aside half of this mixture in a separate small bowl to use as basting glaze later. The remaining half will be for marinating the shrimp.

Add the cleaned shrimp to the bowl with the remaining glaze, tossing to coat evenly. Let marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes. While shrimp marinates, soak wooden skewers in water if using.
